Who we are

  • The Leek Youth Project(@21) has been operating from its site in Market St Leek for many years. The focus of the activity is to provide support and development for at risk Leek teenagers and the age range is 13 – 18.

  • We frequently address safeguarding issues such as self-harm, domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse and anti-social behaviours.

  • The service has many close links with the social services, the police, and education services.

  • In 2014, Staffordshire County Council ceased funding youth services and the charity took the decision to become self-funding.

  • Our work is recognised by many organisations in the town and the Staffordshire Community Fund, together with donations from police funds, churches, councillors and Rotary have helped to keep the struggling service afloat.
